Family Times

These pictures portray almost 2 weeks of family time as our kids and grandkids from Saskatchewan, Seattle and Chilliwack all came together at our place.

Our home rang with a somewhat chaotic mix of laughter, excitement and joy as the 13 of us spent time playing and visiting and enjoying each other's company. The guys even worked on a few repair projects which I neglected to take pictures of. All in all, it was a good time and we are thankful for each one of them. How blessed we are!

The house that the grandkids built!

Fun on the backyard "slip and slide."

We spent several afternoons out on Harrison Lake

our sleeping(?) princess

E and K gleefully brandish the spears and tomahawk their daddy made from rocks and driftwood found on the beach.

Supper was served in a quiet bay while Rick and Adele's "Doug" patiently waits for his share.

The bigger boys kibbitzing in the spare bedroom.

Our enthusiastic drum corps! Even baby B got into the act.

Fun at the waterslides - much anticipated by the grandkids and thoroughly enjoyed by their parents as well.
The boys delighted in being inundated at the kids' water park.

Ice cream distributed all around by PopPop.

Auntie Chris indulges in holding baby B.
E and K cuddling in the hammock chair.

PopPop and Nana and the grandkids.

Harv and I will be away on vacation for the next 2 weeks so there will be a hiatus in blogging. I hope to have lots to share with you when we get back.

See you then!
Bev.

We had a terrific holiday, Mom - thanks for putting up such complimentary pics... we really did have THAT much fun. I will hang on to the memory of our day together until we can do that again... I really loved monopolizing your time by myself. I love you, and hope your trip is fantastic.
